Stony Creek MTB XC – Shelby Twp., Michigan

Patrick Russell - Place: 5th Expert/Elite Singlespeed - Time: 1:39:05 “Once again the course conditions improved greatly the morning of the race. By the start, the course was super fast. After the first lap I just focused on my technique on the single track and tried to put in consistent lap times.”

Brian Kozeliski - Place: 5th Sport Men 35-39 - Time: 1:38:22 "The trail conditions where much better than anticipated by the time we started. I was rather conservative on the single track, but had a great time."

John Talbot - Place: 9th Sport Men 45-49 - Time: 1:53:10 “Enjoyed the ride with a few stops to eat. Great single track. I found out the hard way not to brake on muddy bridges. Thanks to American Cycle and Fitness for loaning me a Gary Fisher Pro Caliber while my bike was out of commission.”

Shenandoah Mountain 100 - Stokesville, VA - (August 31, 2008)

Robert Herriman - Place: 34th Open Men - Time: 9:12:25 "This was the 10th annual Shenandoah 100, but for me, the first. The 500 person mass start is always fun! 100 miles, 17,000 feet of climbing, with tons of hardcore, singletrack. I definitely need to work on that gnarly stuff. Still, I had a great time, made lots of new friends, and finished in one piece with the rubber side down all day! Yes!!"
