Brent gets the win!!!!

Hello all,

It's was great to be at the International Cycling Classic (Superweek). Not only is it a 16 day traveling Bike Racing party with some of the best racers from all over, but people from all around the US and World want to talk about the Wolverine Sports Club because they know of the club, rode with the club, know someone who was in the club or went to the Walden School of Cycling. We have to be the most recognized amateur jersey at any race. It really makes you proud to be part of the Wolverine Sports Club! Even though most of us could only go for only 3 days we showed them the W.S.C. are contenders in all categories! (Kelly, Maia, Kristy & Brent are staying until Sunday, lucky dogs!)

I guess the announcer at Superweek put it the best:
"The Wolverine Sports Club, an American Institution of bicycle racing"

Holy Hill Road Race:
Pro 1/2: (160 starters, 100 miles) Tim Finkle 30th
Cat 3: (80+ starters, 70 miles) Alan Smith 12th
Masters: Ray Dybowski 30th

Cederburg Crit:
Women's: Kelly Paterson 7th
Cat 3: Scott Kroske 24th
Masters: Ray Dybowski 15th

Green Bay Crit:
Pro 1/2: (62 miles, 130+ starters, National Points Race. Top speed of finishing sprint was 48.8 mph! Oh yeah, it was flat!): Luke Cavender 20th, John Coyle 22nd, (12th & 14th in field, 8 riders were away) Tim Finkle mid-pack (John Coyle also received special recognition by being called up to the front with the other Superweek Point Leaders, World and Olympic champions)
Cat 4: Brent Delrosario 1st (see picture above)
Women's: Kelly Paterson 4th, Maia Orabi 20th
Cat 3: Scott Kroske 7th
Masters: Ray Dybowski 6th

My proudest moment at Superweek 2007 was digging though my gear looking for the Gold Bond Powder for Tim Finkel and hearing Luke Cavender and Alan Smith screaming, 'Oh my God! Brent is going to win this thing!'
